HERE ARE SOME PICS FROM THE RECENT COLUMBUS IMAC CONTEST. I'M PROUD TO SAY THAT SILHAVY AEROSPORTS PLACED 1ST AND 2ND IN THE ADVANCED CLASS!!!!

April 28th, 2006. Well here it is! Anyone who has flown or been to an imac in the north central region will have seen my budding dewey davenport and myself palling around. Well after going christmas shopping this last year my wife and I came across a mattel barbie doll that to say the least looks exactly like my buddy dewey. My daughter Jessica plays with this doll more than any other. She calls it her "dewey doll". This building season Jessica helped dress her deweydoll in the appropriate "princess and the pauper" outfit and he, the kids, and I went about designing a new Extra 260 40% which i hope to have ready by June. In this pic, you can see dewey helping cut some material on a couple of tools i came across at harbor freight. One tool is a mini-table saw with a 4" blade, the other is a cut off saw with a 2" cutting blade. these tools really help in making clean FAST cuts and i recommend them. Soon, we will be having a blow by blow construction review of our 32.5% yak 54. STAY TUNED!

MARCH 15, 2006-Just got back from the JR challenge. What a great competition. Full of good friends and good times. We would like to thank Andy Kane and JR for their support of this event and look forward to this event next year! In the next few days we will be adding photos of the contest. Here is one photo of the advanced class. My ugly mug is the bottom right.
